Director, Customer Account Management

Description

The Successful Director, Customer Account Management should:

  • Develop a project management lifecycle for product accounts
  • Oversee client accounts, ensuring continuity and customer success
  • Function as a conduit for communication between our clients and internal teams – sales, engineering, and deployment teams
  • Develop understanding of client long-term goals and challenges
  • Educate clients on our core capabilities and service offerings
  • Advises internal team and customers on ways to improve operational effectiveness, product adoption, and overall customer success
  • Track account status and key metrics, flagging associated business actions needed, e.g. client satisfaction
  • Track and conduct customer visits and relationship building efforts
  • Increase organization and structure for account management business processes
  • Grow and manage account management team and collaborate with strategic counterparts

Qualifications

  • 10+ client management or consulting experience in commercial and government sectors
  • 5+ years of leadership experience developing and managing cross-functional teams with minimal oversight
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in at least 3 or more of the following areas: strategy development, performance improvement, operational analysis, service delivery design, process optimization, and change management
  • Experience developing and implementing internal business processes
  • Ability to manage risks and take corrective measurements to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Highly motivated professional, with excellent verbal, communication, presentation and social skills
  • Takes initiative and wears multiple hats
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter able to work independently but also as a member of a team
  • Experience in cybersecurity industry preferred
  • Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred or equivalent experience
